Our history

Surveys unlimited was founded in 1986 by two former USDA inspectors. Surveys was the first independent inspection and consulting service of its kind to utilize the power of the computer to speed large quantities of information to its clientele here and abroad. In 1988 we expanded our services to include major west coast ports. Now, we are able to provide our services nationwide.

During the past 34 years, Surveys Unlimited Inc. has achieved a reputation of integrity, quality and confidentiality that is unique to the industry. Our procedures have earned the confidence of both shippers and receivers worldwide. Surveys has expertise in both domestic and imported produce and can customize a quality control program for you.

Today we continue our commitment to excellence through the use of cutting edge technology. Our latest innovation is the use of tablet PCs to collect data and digital photos which are wirelessly uploaded on a continual basis throughout the inspection process with reports distributed at regular intervals. Our state-of-the-art website can also be used to speed our inspection results and digital photos to you wherever you are any time of the day or night.
